The brother of social media star Qandeel Baloch, killed in the name of "righteousness" in 2016, was blameless by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday after serving less than six years in prison, his barrister said.

Before her expiry in 2016, Baloch, 26, developed well-known for her posts that were thought evocative and wicked by many in the republic.

Her brother Muhammad Waseem was detained and advanced punished to life in prison by a trial court for strangulation her, shamelessly telling the press he had no regret for the killing because her conduct was “unbearable”.

Sardar Mahboob, Waseem's attorney, told to the Newspaper that his customer had been cleared.

He said that the trial court had "incorrectly trained its power" and condemned Waseem under the Pakistan Penal Code's Section 311, dealing with fasad-fil-arz (harm on earth), even however he had been forgave by the decedent's successors.

Section 311 is usually appealed after a person has been forgiven by the prey/plaintiff.

Three months after Baloch's killing, parliament passed new lawmaking instructing life custody for integrity murders.
